Canadian soprano Chelsey Schill has performed numerous leading roles with great success across Europe. She has graced stages at Oper Köln, Oper Leipzig, Teatro Nacional de São Carlos in Lisbon, Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg, Seefestspielen in Berlin, and numerous other prestigious theatres across Europe.

Canadian soprano Chelsey Schill has performed numerous leading roles across Europe, including Musetta in Puccini’s "La Bohème", Violetta in Verdi’s "La Traviata", the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s "The Magic Flute", Marzelline in Beethoven’s "Fidelio", Poppea in Handel’s "Agrippina", Waldvogel in Wagner’s "Siegfried", and Woglinde in Wagner’s "Götterdämmerung", collaborating with stage director Graham Vick. She has graced stages at Oper Köln, Oper Leipzig, Teatro Nacional de São Carlos in Lisbon, Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg, Seefestspielen in Berlin, and numerous other prestigious theatres across Europe.
Chelsey Schill's international concert performances include Beethoven's "Ninth Symphony" conducted by José Cura, Mendelssohn's "Elijah", Brahms' "Ein deutsches Requiem", Orff's "Carmina Burana", Vivaldi's "Gloria", and Mozart's "Requiem". Chelsey Schill has also been featured in numerous concert performances, including Alban Berg's "Lulu Suite" and "Faust Scenes" by Robert Schumann.
Chelsey Schill’s specialization in contemporary music has been a continuous passion throughout her career. She has premiered multiple works in Europe and Canada, notably originating the role of Despina in the world premiere of Kerger's "Fintenzauber" at the Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg, and performing the lead soprano role in the world premiere of Tomasz Prasqual’s opera "The Architecture of Light" in Poznań, Poland and Cologne, Germany. Additionally, she debuted as the Green Snake in Nunes's "Das Märchen" and Porta-Voz in Corte-Real's "Banksters" in Lisbon, Portugal.
Chelsey Schill was born in Oakville, Canada. She earned a Bachelor of Music and a Diploma in Opera from Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada, before pursuing advanced studies at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne, Germany, where she obtained an Artist Diploma with distinction.
